    Isabelle Roberge  BA, MA, S-LP (c), reg. OOAQ is a speech-language pathologist completely at ease working in either official language.

As part of the Cleft Palate teams at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, she has been involved with children with resonance problems. She developed experience with adults presenting voice problems at the Ottawa General and Hull Hospitals. While chief speech pathologist at the Hull hospital, she introduced acoustic analysis of voice and initiated videofluoroscopic studies for swallowing disorders.

Her in-teaching responsibilities led her to be the resource speech-language pathologist in a joint Laurentian University and TV Ontario series on child development. She has presented on communication issues in Canadian hospitals at Dialogue 95 at the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists annual convention. She now teaches Anatomy and Physiology of the Nervous System concerning communication disorders to speech-language pathology and audiology students at Ottawa University.

Her interest in voice can be traced to choral singing at Laval and Montréal Universities and continues now with the Chelsea Castenchel choir which presents concerts in the National Capital area and abroad.

The clinic she directs focuses on vocal health and voice disorders in children and adults.
